Non Chexsystems Banks

There are a number of banks out there that do not use chexsystems. There is also a number out there who do use chexsystems, but they offer a second chance program for people to open a new checking account. For the most part, you should be looking for banks that are close to you so you can open a new checking account. The reason is because if you can find a bank that does not use chexsystems that is local, you can go into the bank and handle all of your deposits. If you are not able to find a non chexsystems bank, then you are going to have to settle for a bank that is further away from you. Do not worry though, because you can easily deposit money into your account. The easiest way to put money into an account that is not close to you is to set up direct deposit from your job. A lot of places have ATMs all over the place, and you can also use your debit card to take money out.

Some people have said that they were able to get a new checking account with a bank that was a Credit Union. There are a number of Credit Unions that do use chex systems, but there are still a number that do not. If you can qualify to join a Credit union (not everyone can qualify for one), then you should give it a shot. If you do not want to be embarrassed if you get denied because you are applying in person, then you can find banks that will let you apply for a new account online. That way, you find out if your account was approved, and you do not have to be embarrassed by getting denied from someone in person.
